Made from Alvarinho produced exclusively in Monção and Melgaço, where vineyards are alongside the river, at low altitude, and the soils are deep, creating a divine complexity, minerality and layers of flavor. A Minimum 4-month aging on fine lees and an extended period of skin contact (why it's called contacto) gives additional flavor & richness including citrus, tropical fruit, mango, & a nice dry finish.
