The wine comes the Madiran appellation in Southwest France, with rocky soils and old traditions. Lots of structure here, with dark tannins and rich perfume. The wine is still aging with its structure very much intact. The black fruits are full and rich. A full-bodied treat to compliment red meat dishes, BBQ, burgers, heavy stews and strong cheeses.
