Egger-Ramer Schiava Gentile Edelvernatsch shows beautiful aromas & flavors of rose, potpourri, strawberry, perfume, light cherry & bitter almond. A light to medium-bodied red with mountain, herbal red currant characteristics. Edelvernatsch means "noble local,” & indicates the wine is made with one of Schiava’s finest varietals: Schiava Gentile. Great on its own or pair with mature pecorino cheese, baked ham or light chicken dishes.
