To craft this elegant wine, Glen Ellen crushed Zinfandel grapes and allowed a short-term maceration of the juice with the skins to draw off color and flavor. After pressing, the rose-colored juice was cold fermented in stainless steel tanks to keep the aromas and flavors bright and distinctive.
