Grand Marnier Not the Right Stuff
This is the worst liquor I have ever tasted! It is not smooth and the flavor is supposed to be like oranges but for the life of me I can't see it. It is a waste of money as far as I am concerned! It is not the right stuff!
Grand Marnier
Grand Marnier is the queen of the cordials. It is orange liqueur, which uses sweetness of orange and at the same time bitterness of orange zest. Grand Marnier can be used in many cocktails, or drinked neat; however, you need to be careful, because it is pretty strong.
One of the originals and one of the best!
Grand Marnier has always been the synonymous name on people's lips when talking about orange liqueurs. Often orange liqueurs will have a cloyingly sweet smell and tongue feel to cover up a cheaper spirit. Yes, GM costs more but you pay for what you get! Not only is is slow processed ---which in today's world is going by the wayside-- but it's only one with Cognac in it. Great to sip but also amazing to cook with --try it in your Thanksgiving cranberry sauce!
Not your Grand Ma's liquor!
This stuff doesn't go down as smooth as I wish. It smells great but can give you the shivers. It is also very expensive at bars. A lot of people like to drink it on the rocks but I prefer to mix it with coke.
