Herisson Bag in Box Rose 2017

Under the direction of Francois Moutard and his two sisters, Agnes and Veronique, Moutard-Diligent makes wine primarily in Champagne and Auxerre (Chablis and Irancy), but they also produce Herisson boxes. Named after the French word for hedgehog, Herisson is a collection of high-quality fruit sourced from Burgundy and beyond. Their red wines are usually built around Gamay and Pinot Noir, but there wasn't enough good fruit around in 2017, so they went as far as Costieres de Nimes in the Rhône Valley to make this 100% Carignan rosé.
