Tap Rye Port Finished Canadian Whisky is a limited edition of the Tap 357 Whisky brand, made with Canadian Rye Whisky, aged up to eight years. It is produced at the oldest distillery in Western Canada, distilled multiple times in small batches in a pot still. The twist? Tap Port Finished is aged in a combination of hand-selected barrels AND port casks, then it is finished with a small amount of port wine before cold filtration. This is a complex aged rye whisky that will make all Dads’ heads spin, but in a good way. No more ties or mugs. Pour Tap Rye Port Finished and you have yourself a glass of spice, woody nutmeg and cinnamon all in one, with a rich and layered deep, lingering finish.
