A ten-year-old single malt, Glenmorangie Original is produced by marrying the delicate spirit that emerges from Scotland’s tallest stills, with first and second fill American white oak casks. It is here, maturing for ten long years in a range of ex-bourbon casks such as their famous slow-grown and air-dried ’designer casks’ from Missouri, that their raw spirit develops a perfect balance between sweetness and complexity.

Smooth single malt whiskey.
The best way to enjoy this Scotch whiskey is to serve on the rocks. The flavor profile is sweet of honey and a bit smoky. This Scotch whiskey has a smooth mouthfeel which brings out the complexity of this great product. Definitely a great nightcap which is soothing and comforting.
The classic dram
This pours a beautiful golden amber color, akin to many of the fantastic full bodied Highlands scotches. There is a lingering cream and honey flavor more denoted by Islay or Speyside but it's lovely. A classic after dinner dram, priced really well at under $40 sometimes even under $35. Much contested as one of the best entry level scotches and one not to be missed as you're journeying into the single malt stuff.
