Murphy Goode has been making Chardonnay for almost 30 years. It comes from a wonderful vineyard that sits on the banks of the Russian River. The fogs along the banks keep the fruit cool and help to create some wonderful apple flavors, and the French Oak contributes beautiful notes of vanilla and a sweet toast. The combination reminds us of apple pie a la mode.
